Make sure that all of your Honors credits are coded properly on your transcript. The Honors Scholar designation will not be granted without a successful audit of your Honors requirements. |

File a Diploma Application through PeopleSoft |
| |
|
An Honors Final Plan of Study must be submitted to the Honors Program. A plan of study may also be required by your major department. |

Students may be eligible to submit their theses electronically to the institutional repository, Digital Commons@UConn, in addition to the hardcopy presented to the Honors Program. Click here for more information. |

Extensions may be granted upon availability of Honors and Thesis advisors. Completion of requirements beyond final deadlines set by the Honors Program and the Registrar's Office will result in postponement of degree conferral.

| **Students who graduate as a University Scholar or Honors Scholar may not also receive the Degree with Distinction. |
| Please check with Patty Szarek (Patricia.Szarek@uconn.edu or 486-4223) regarding final deadlines and options for graduation. The University Scholar, Honors Scholar, and Degree with Distinction requirements must be completed at the time of degree conferral. Should a student decide to graduate with an Honors designation, it cannot be added to the degree after conferral. |
