Students Involved in Enrichment Opportunities
Xue Feng (Will) Liu attended the USMA National Conference on Ethics in America and says, "I would recommend students to attend the conference despite the time commitment and missing three days of class. It is a unique opportunity to meet students from different areas and schools, there were students that came as far as Alaska to attend to the conference. I initially had reservations and fears about visiting West Point. I found the stereotypes and beliefs I held of the West Point cadet and military personnel to be incorrect. While there were many people from West Point that fit my initial impression of the military and the school, I quickly found exceptions. For instance, the cadet I stayed with was Asian American, came from a family with no prior military tradition or history, and aspires to become a doctor. "
