Awards, Scholarships, and Funding

Admission to the UConn Honors Program does not carry with it automatic merit aid.  While most Honors students receive merit aid, the process for admission to Honors is separate from awarding merit scholarships.

Rowe Scholars
This award is given to incoming first-year honors students interested in the health professions. Students from federally recognized underrepresented groups are especially targeted for this award. The Rowe Scholarship Program is open to select incoming undergraduates who are Connecticut residents. More . . .
 
Oaklawn Scholarship
This program is for Honors students who were not awarded merit aid upon admission to UConn. More . . .

International Nite Scholarship
This award is given annually by the Honors Council to a student who demonstrates commitment to diversity and multicultural issues. For more information, please email UConnHC@gmail.com.

Paul Volpe Award
This annual award is given to an Honors student majoring in the College of Arts and Sciences who is a Pell Grant recipient.

Summer Undergraduate Research Fund Grants
