Study Abroad for UConn BME Majors at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Ranked 18th in the world by The Times of London, and recognized as one of the best universities in the Pacific Rim, NUS offers a wonderful and inexpensive study abroad opportunity for highly-motivated students. Through a partnership between the Honors Program and the NUS University Scholars Program, UConn students will engage in a broad-based curriculum that will be particularly attractive to students interested in engineering, humanities, arts, social sciences, and sciences. Honors Scholars will earn Honors credit through exciting, interdisciplinary classes and will be welcomed as part of the USP community of scholars for social, cultural, and service-oriented activities. Students from the NUS University Scholars Program will be integrated into the UConn Honors Program as part of this exchange program. Through their participation in the Honors community, they will have access to special Honors classes, Honors library privileges, special Honors-only events and activities, Honors student organizations, and the Honors newsletter; they may also have the opportunity to live in special Honors housing.
