Leadership skills and global perspectives can be gained through special Honors Program-sponsored opportunities. Students may elect a course sequence designed to prepare them to be student facilitators for the First-year Honors Seminars. Students earn Honors credit on specially-designated study away/study abroad programs, including an internship-based program in Cape Town, South Africa and the Honors Congressional Internship Program in Washington, D.C.
